If you have a Samsung phone then you may have noticed that not all 3.5mm headsets will work. Sure, other brand headsets might provide stereo music....but the mic feature will not work. HERE'S WHY: The jack has three rings so you see 4 sections. Those four sections are for mic, ground, left ear, right ear. On Samsung phones the mic and ground are opposite.
