Product Review
Tess of the D'Urbervilles produces large, fragrant flowers in bright crimson, with the outer petals eventually curling back. The blooms are deeply cupped in the early stages. The stems arch gracefully under the weight of the blooms, creating an elegant effect. The fragrance is a lovely classic Old-Rose. The growth is robust, bushy and spreading while the leaves are large and dark green. It forms a rounded shrub which may benefit from some summer pruning. Tess of the D'Urbervilles may also be grown as a short climber - magnificent, especially when the stems are fanned out to maximize flowering.
