Our liner is manufactured from high quality, USA made, PEVA material. PEVA is a safer alternative to PVC which is most commonly used. Many consumers are unaware of the high volume of toxic gases released by PVC (vinyl). These harmful gases create the stale, plastic smell that shower liners are known for. Over time the exposure to such toxins can lead to severe health complications. The absence of chlorine in PEVA significantly reduces the dangerous off-gasses. In addition to being health conscious, Kent & West also takes pride in manufacturing domestically. The majority of shower liners are imported to reduce cost. However, we feel it is important to manufacture in the USA for better quality and to create local jobs. Best of all, this shower liner will last for a long time! PEVA is known for its toughness and durability. Other important features include bottom magnets, metal grommets, and high clarity. For maintenance we recommend light cleaning periodically. The 2016 model features added flexibility and the 2017 model contains stronger magnets. We implemented these changes as a result of customer feedback.
