Zarathustra Music presents the world premiere recording of Elliot Goldenthal's Jabberwocky, a narrative miniature based on Lewis Carroll's poem, written for bass-baritone and woodwind quartet. This special 12-minute release features the original version and a second all-instrumental version. Upon its Carnegie Hall premiere, the New York Times called Jabberwocky, ''a delightful, imaginative work.'' Featured performers include acclaimed bass-baritone Charles Temkey and bassoonist Erik Holtje.
