The back hinge will not break! If re-using, wash carefully by hand with a non-abrasive cleaner. The base has a slot which holds the cupcake securely. Fits cupcakes with 2 1/8 Inch diameter and 3 3/4 Inch height. Outer dimensions: 5 1/4 x 4 Inches. Too Large for mini cupcakes and too small for jumbo cupcakes.
