The guard tube and insert holes are a great way to protect your mason bees from parasitic wasp invasion. This combination uses the Easy Tear tube as a guard tube and the insert as a nesting hole. At fall harvesting of your bees, remove the insert and open it. Reuse the Easy Tear guard tube and replace the inexpensive insert for next season.
