Summer 1942 and Spitfire Mark VBs of 249 Squadron encounter a fighter escort including Me109s. The vital port of Valletta was a frequent target for the JU88s of the German Luftwaffe and keeping Malta in Allied hands was very much down to the gallant efforts of the RAF squadrons. As with all Gibsons jigsaws, the beautifully illustrated pieces are made from the highest quality 100% recycled board and therefore a pleasure to work with again and again.
