This book is designed as an aid for those who have been asked to lead the opening prayers in a church or fellowship group, but are wary of praying without notes or written prayers.
The prayers offered are written to be spoken, and use contemporary language where appropriate. They aim to be personal rather than remote, and be accessible without being simplistic. Several include congregational responses, and they cover both the regular Sunday services as well as some of the seasons of the Church.
