This 10-inch octagonal slatted cedar wood basket makes a great planter for most orchids with or without potting medium. It's hand crafted for quality and strength with a unique octagon shape. This attractive natural wood basket has commonly been called a Vanda basket, as it works particularly well with the Vanda type orchid. It can be used for a variety of other plants such as ferns and bromeliads as it provides excellent drainage. Coconut fiber and sphagnum moss make a good liner for use with plants potted in potting soil. Mesh onion/vegetable sacks also work great. Galvanized wire eyelets allow you to hang this basket inside or outside the home. Measures 10-Inch at it's widest part, 5.75-Inch tall and 8.5-Inch at narrowest point across.
