Marks’ Essentials of Medical Biochemistry: A Clinical Approach is targeted to first-year medical students taking a short, one-semester biochemistry course. The purpose of the book is to teach the most essential biochemistry concepts with an emphasis on linking biochemistry and medicine through patient vignettes.
