Wendy is planning a wedding for Anne, a lovely, young bride. She is doing everything she can to make the day special and things are coming together perfectly. But then Wendy meets Anne’s meddling, rude and controlling future mother-in-law, Celeste. Wendy is shocked that she is so mean and manipulative, but Anne seems to be taking it in her stride and tries to appease Celeste as much as possible as her main priority is getting married. But when a member of the wedding party is found dead everything points to Anne as the murderer. Wendy believes that she is innocent and she enlists the help of her friend, hunky Private Investigator Brian, to prove Anne’s innocence. With the suspects piling up, but Anne still the police’s primary suspect, Wendy and Brian struggle to find the real murderer. Or is Anne really the culprit?
