Can be use on top of a gas or electric or glass burner . use only low to medium heat setting. for normal cleaning, hot or warm water with household detergent , soft sponge or cloth is adequate . Not recommended for use in dishwasher. The head knob come unattached for shipping purpose, it is included in the box.
