When you're working on your car and need to remove or install a fuel pump retaining ring that holds the fuel pump module on the gas tank, use the ABN Fuel Pump Module Spanner Wrench, 3/8" to 1/2" Inch Adjustable - Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Volkswagen (VW), Chrysler. This spanner wrench engages in the ridges around a threaded locking collar that secures the fuel pump to the top of the tank. It is fully adjustable from the middle track (3/8" to 1/2" adapter included) allowing for a custom fit and better grip. Once adjusted, it is a precise fit and makes very short work of removing the collar. It fits most plastic retaining rings and is compatible with vehicles that have silent fuel tank lids.
