The 4th Ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, who upset No. 1 Alabama 42-35, and the 2nd Ranked Oregon Ducks, who defeated No. 3 Florida State 59-20 will play for the National Championship. Led by Heisman-winning quarterback Marcus Mariota, who has only thrown three interceptions all season, along with a defense that forced five turnovers against the Seminoles, have a great chance to win their first national title in school history. In just the second start of his college career, the Buckeyes will be led by sophomore quarterback Cardale Jones. Ohio State s stellar defense forced Alabama quarterback Blake Sims into three picks so the Ducks will need a near perfect game to win the Championship while Ohio State battles to win their first national title since 2002.
