These rings look so good you'll have trouble believing the stones aren't real diamonds. The metalwork of the rings and settings is top quality, and will stand up to your closest inspection. But the stones are cubic zirconia, so as good as they look, these rings are affordably priced fashion jewelry. Cubic zirconia is an optically flawless stone with a color, refractive index, and optical dispersion that's almost identical to diamond. Cubic zirconia is also harder than most natural gemstones -- only ruby, sapphire, and diamond are harder. The engagement wring features a large stone framed by two smaller stones. This "three stone" design in engagement rings is said to symbolize a couple's past, present, and future.

So if you're a young couple on a budget, or are looking for an affordable "stand in" to wear at times when you don't want to risk your actual engagement ring and wedding band, or you just want an occasional alternative to your usual wedding/engagement set, these are rings that will look great on your hand!
