Used for attaching piping cord. Its the exact same foot the professionals use when adding fancy piping to your cushions or 3-piece suite. Piping adds the extra finishing touch to home decor projects. This foot is for Janome sewing machines that have a 9 mm zig-zag stitch width. The left or right cut-out under the foot helps keeps the fabric wrapped around the cord in place, while the machine sews it firmly in position. Maximum cord size is 5 mm.
