Aunt Patty's Organic Red Palm Oil is a mild-flavored, nutrient-rich cooking oil. Non-hydrogenated with zero trans fat, it is high in the antioxidant vitamin A in the form of beta-carotene and is also a good source of vitamin E in the form of tocotrienols and tocopherols. A wonderful compliment to rice and grain dishes, sauces, soups and even popcorn. This oil can sustain high cooking temperatures without heat damage. No refrigeration required. Recommended use is one to two tablespoons daily. Aunt Patty Organic Red Palm Oil is sourced from Ecuador and is certified by the Round Table on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). Because we are a company valuing sustainability with firmly rooted values in healthy living and stewardship of our planet, we believe in this third-party certification. We use RSPO to ensure: 1) producers are not actively cutting down rainforest 2) endangered species habitat is not being removed to make room for growing palm crops 3) suppliers are not in conflict over land rights with indigenous peoples 4) natural peat bogs are not being drained.
