This is my personal account of using a herb, kratom, to manage my chronic pain and restless legs syndrome. I recount what drove me to try a herb I had never heard of. I tried it in despair, after all other attempts to manage these conditions without pharmaceuticals had failed. And I describe how this powdered leaf gave me my life back.
