Emily Carrington was running away from a controlling Uncle, a fiancee she wasn't in love with and the Carrington Shipyards. When she heard about all the wagon trains heading west from Independence Missouri, she was on her way. Only problem was, the wagon master, Cole Morgan wouldn't let single women travel on the train. That is until he met Emily. He did however, find a way, he married Emily, and she became the cook for his men on the train. It was a good arrangement. But could Emily survive the journey and what would happen to her marriage once she finished her journey to Oregon?
