The Shark cage is a lightweight and sturdy aluminum cage system for your GoPro HERO3 or HERO4 series camera. The Shark cage is unique in that it and apes the first time that you can customize a compact GoPro cage to put mounting points where you need them. When you want to operate your GoPro HERO3 or HERO4 series camera outside of its case, you lose a lot of mounting options. Plastic frames done offer much mounting flexibility, and up until now metal cages were heavy and did offer many attachment options either. The Shark cage is both lightweight, and customizable - the first GoPro camera cage that lets you create exactly the cage you need for your shoot. The all-metal kit includes the Go TOUGH Shark cage, a long plate with five staggered 1/4-20” threaded mounting holes, a shorter plate with three 1/4-20” threaded mounting holes, the standard GoPro mounting “prong”, and a set of screws. You decide exactly how the cage goes together to fit your application. The Shark cage is fully compatible with GoPro LCD Touch Backpacks and Battery Backpacks while retaining access to their controls. Note that the Go TOUGH Shark cage is fully compatible with the Foodie Wonder Pane GO filter system (available separately).
