Her time as Dr. Williams' special assistant at an end, Caroline agrees to join the servants of the Hartly Barn. She knows that nothing in her old life can compare to the dizzying pleasure and pain that await her in the classrooms and guest lounges of the Hartly Barn. As she meets the other servants and is introduced to her new masters, she can't help but wonder--what became of the handsome Dr. Castile? Will he turn up as one of the doctors to entertain or as one of the servants?
