Silo Forty has been plunged into darkness. In a desperate move to keep the whole silo from being shut down, Ranger Henderson from Hart's Folly destroyed the transformer that supplied energy from Silo One. Conditions continue to worsen for the people of Silo Forty, but Henderson, and the other outsiders, are working hard to save the people of this underground city.

Hart's Folly is a look at life of those who survived outside of the W.O.O.L. project. It answers some of the mysteries in Hugh Howey's modern sci-fi classic.
