This Right Angle Converter can convert a 7.4mm (Outside diameter) x 5.08mm (Inside diameter) straight power connector on some Dell and HP/Compaq laptop computer power adapters to a right angle connector. One end is a 7.4 x 5.08mm male plug, and the other end is a 7.4 x 5.08mm female jack.
Note: This LC90 connector will not work for some Dell power adapters that have octagon shaped connectors. It only works for round shape 7.4mmx 5.08mm connectors with center pin0
HP / Compaq Laptop Computers:
This converter also works for many HP Compaq laptops that using a big power connector with center pin. The outside diameter of the connector is 7.4mm. It will not work for HP Compaq power connector without center pin.
- Caution: This adapter does not work for all Dell/HP computers. If your Dell/HP/Compaq computer power adapter has a round shape connector (outside diameter is around 7.4mm) with a tiny center pin, then this converter will work. If your power adapter connector is not round shaped or is round shaped but incorrectly sized, this adapter will not work for you.
- One end of this connector is a 7.4 x 5.08mm male plug, and the other end is a 7.4 x 5.08mm female jack. It can converts Dell or HP/Compaq Round Shape straight power connector with 7.4mm outside diameter to 90 degree right angle connector. Protects original straight connector from damage and saves space around corners
- Works for Dell laptop power adapters that have round shaped power connectors with center pin and the outside diameter of the connector is around 7.4mm. Does not work for Dell power adapters that have octagon shaped connectors.
- Works for HP Compaq laptop power adapter that has round shape power connector with center pin and outside diameter of the connector is around 7.4mm. Does not work for HP Compaql power adapters that have smaller connectors without center pin.
- This converter's female side will only accept round shaped connector. You can not use this converter if your power adapter connector is not round shape. Some Dell power adapters have octagon shape connectors, which will not fit the female side of this converter. The female jack can plug into a Dell or HP power adapter male round shape connector with about 7.4mm outside diameter
