Arado Ar 196 was a shipboard reconnaissance low-wing monoplane aircraft built by the German firm of Arado starting in 1936. The next year it was selected as the winner of a design contest and became the standard aircraft of the Kriegsmarine (German navy) throughout World War II. Kit features panel lines with fabric over frame effect, detailed cockpit and radio operator's panel and rear machine gun position, tube framework, multi-part canopy, fully detailed radial engine, optional (1-piece 2-blade or 1-piece 3-blade propeller), wings can be modeled folded or extended, separate oil tank, detailed undercarriage, ventral float and side mounted stabilizing floats, (2) � 50 kg (110 lb) bombs. Also includes display stand. Decals and markings for V-4 D-OVMB 1938 - includes instrument panel, gauges, radio operator's panel and gunners station.
