Execellent for soups and baking. Grows well in all climates, in high temperatures, and in drought conditions. Produces continuously until first frost. Do not plant until soil is warm. Lima beans have a harder time sprouting than other beans. Plant your Lima bean seeds outdoors directly in the soil, 14 days after your last frost date, and when night time temperatures are 75 F. For a quicker start, you can soak your seeds 1 to 4 hours in warm water. If you soak the seeds too long, they will split or rot and will not germinate!
