Ripple Junction Officially Licensed Naruto Shippuden T-Shirt. It took a long time for Naruto and Kurama to become friends. They didn't get along at all throughout the original series and in Shippuden it took him forever to get the nine-tailed beast to trust him. What finally made ol' Nine-Tails accept Naruto was his insistence on treating the ancient beast with respect, something that no human had done before. Together they became the most powerful duo in the series, perhaps in all of anime.
