The bow tie clip on hardware measurement is 2.75" (69 mm) in length and 9/16" (13 mm) in width, with three 1 mm holes on each side. The bow tie clip on hardware can be sewn on to the back of the bow tie or slipped into slits made on the back of the bow tie and then secure by the middle piece of fabric strap. The bow tie hardware is spring loaded to be able to clip on and stay put on your shirt collar.
