Product Review
Beginning in India and China, tea has been cultivated for centuries. Second only to water, tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world. There are three main varieties of tea, black, oolong, and green. Green tea is suggested to have the most health benefits, currently being researched in coronary artery disease, inflammatory bowel disease, diabetes, liver disease and support for weight loss. More commonly, green tea is used for its powerful antioxidants. Green tea's support for immune system health comes from the powerful antioxidants called polyphenols. These antioxidants fight free radicals which are damaging compounds in the body that damage DNA, change cells and possibly cause cell death. It is thought that free radicals also contribute to the aging process. The suppositories do not need to be refrigerated as heat will not affect their quality or potency. The suppository base is a superior form that uses an inclusion formula with heat stable ingredients. Refrigeration is for "hardening" the suppository to facilitate insertion.
