When Belle Calhoun steps off the stage into Tombstone, Arizona, in the spring of 1885, she never expected to arrive just in time to witness a hanging, to get into a tussle with a saloon owner, to have to borrow a dress from a saloon girl, or to attend a stranger's funeral, all within her first hour in town. When her circumstances suddenly find her without her intended mail order groom, Belle has a hard time staying out of trouble when his brother threatens to raffle her off to the highest bidder.
