Hundred Board Presentation
1. Carry the board and container of number tiles to a mat or table.
2. Sort the number tiles into columns by tens place. Don't worry about getting them in the correct order within each column.
3. Starting with 1 in the upper left corner, lay out the number tiles in order.
4. Continue until all of the number tiles are in the correct place.
5. The child should know from memory where the tile should go and should place it in the correct space.
6. The child leaves the answer tiles on the Chart and works with the board for as long as he is able.
7. The child can check his answers on the Control Chart. (NOTE: the child can write the answers on a photocopied version of the 100 Board so that this can ultimately be completed over a number of days and so that the child has a copy of his work.)
8. Assemble the Hundred Board in sequence
9. Assemble the Hundred Board in a random fashion.
10. Assemble the Hundred Board in sequence by Evens or Odds.
