This mainly imaginative story has been based upon accounts in the First Book of Kings in the Bible and also on the recorded history of ancient Egypt. It tells the story of the Egyptian princess who became King Solomon’s first and most beloved wife in about the year 960 BC. and follows her intriguing life until her death about thirty-five years later.
