These strips can be used to repair most water tanks manufactured by Norwesco, Poly-Mart, Ace Rotomold, Snyder, Den Hartog, Dura-Cast, Custom Roto Mold, Waterwall and almost all other polyethylene water tank manufacturers. Polyethylene is also used in automotive applications like windshield washer bottles and radiator overflow tanks. It is also used on ATV fenders, small watercraft, motor home water tanks, dirt bike fenders, gas tanks and agricultural water/fertilizer tanks. Polyethylene is very stable (meaning few things will react with it), which is why it is almost impossible to get quality repairs using adhesives, and also why it is used to contain chemicals (gasoline, pesticides, etc.) that would react with other plastics. Welding is the best repair method for polyethylene. A high degree of molecular branching with long chains gives molten LDPE unique and desirable flow properties, making it easier to work with while producing a high-strength and durable bond for both LDPE and HDPE welds.
