Poem reads:

Mom

A mother's love for her little boy
begins before he is born.
Prayers for his safety end her day
and begin again each morn.

From my infant days to my teen years
when I tried your patience and nerves
You encouraged me and praised me
some days, more than I deserved.

Now I understand how you can love a son
more than you ever thought you could
And make sacrifices for him
that you never thought you would.

There's a bond which strengthens with time
and cannot be undone.
It's the everlasting bond of love
between a mother and her son.
