This All-Purpose Genesis TrakRunner Mini-Circular Saw has it all: precision, convenience, and incredible versatility. It cuts hardwoods, softwoods, plywood, paneling, plastic, tile, aluminum, copper and much more. It has a power 5-amp motor and a strong worm drive system that provides maximum torque to take on the toughest tasks. The lightweight, compact saw has an ergonomic barrel handle with soft grip that allows for one-handed operation. The compact size is much easier to handle than bulky circular saws. The Plunge cutting capacity is up to 1-1/8-inch with an Easy-to-use depth control. It also includes a Laser-light cutting guide for quicker setup and improved accuracy. It is very well strong, with a lightweight Cast-aluminum gearbox and guards. The changing of blades is convenient, due to a Spindle lock button. To reduce job site cleanup, there is a dust collection system with vacuum adapter included. The Kit also includes a miter base system. This ensures accurate miter cutting in flooring, tile, molding, and more. This Kit includes: 24T carbide-tipped blade (Genesis GAPCS351) for wood, 80T HSS blade (GAPCS352) for metal, diamond blade (GAPCS353) for tile, rip guide, vacuum adapter, miter box assembly, Allen key and storage case. Also offered is an optional 50-inch long Track System (Genesis GAPCS203) that enables accurate rip cutting of boards or other material up to 48-inches wide, sold separately.
