This product is grown and processed in the USA This raw cotton has been ginned, but has not been carded. There are cotton seeds and sometimes small pieces of the cotton plant mixed in. Raw cotton is often used for stuffing or cushioning when a less expensive material is required, and it's acceptable to have some other plant matter besides the fiber.
