This aircraft grade aluminum wrench fits over the M1 Garand barrel and gas cylinder to aid in loosening and removing the blank adapter or gas plug / lock screw. The wrench gives you a good grip and leverage to remove the plug while preventing damage to the gas tube or barrel. Black anodized finish. Save yourself a big headache with this tool. When it comes to guns, there are always a few non-standard models or adaptations out there. This tool fits 99+ % of the more than 6 million M1 Garands ever made, but it may not fit very rare variations such as the early (and extremely rare) "gas trap" models, which have larger gas ports.
