If no enough sufficient sunshine, you can just replace the rechargeable AA battery and it will work. Note, the replacement battery should also be rechargeable. Easy to install.

Firstly put the stake onto the tube at the back as the picture shows, then find a place for the lights with clear and full exposure to the sun and insert the stake into the ground. If the ground is too hard, do not twist or hammer it with force, please try to soften the ground with water and then insert it into the ground;
