Also known as “Unfinished Business,” the 18th season of Amazing Race brings together previous Race competitors, who return to compete for a second chance to win. Sprinting nearly 40,000 miles through five continents and 20 cities, the teams travel through the Australian Outback, Tokyo, Vienna, Rio de Janeiro, Kolkata, India and for the first time Liechtenstein, among other destinations far and wide.

Along the route, the teams face extreme obstacles, harsh challenges and rigorous competition such as enduring freezing waters from Mount Fuji and rescue drills from the peaks of the iconic Swiss Matterhorn, measuring the length of a country from a moped, and making traditional fuel patties from water buffalo manure. As an added element, Season 18 introduced legs without a mandatory rest period.
