When you unpack your Katerina automatic masturbator you'll need to remove two foam discs from the cup compartment of the device. These are there so the device does not get damaged during shipping. Simply grasp the black (or gold) band of plastic near the bottom of the Katerina and twist it clockwise to open the cup compartment. The foam discs should fall right out. Place the end piece back onto the Katerina and twist it counterclockwise until it clicks into place. Open the battery compartment by twisting the small end cap off of the Katerina, place new batteries into the Katerina with the polarity in the direction indicated, and close the battery compartment. You can now use your Katerina. Be sure to use lubrication as well.
