- Macs made before 2010 do not output audio over Mini DisplayPort.When connect to monitor ,audio will not pass through the adapter to the HDMI/VGA/DVI monitor (a speaker is needed to get audio out );When connect to TV, only HDMI port can have audio out , VGA and DVI ports need a speaker to get audio out
- Please make sure the movie is 4K x 2K and make sure TV or Display support 4K x 2K resolution, then you can get the 4K x 2K image, or you only get standard image(not 4K result)
