Per our picky standards, Fudge Nuts is chock full of real food ingredients you can actually pronounce, and is balanced for sport or simply snacking. Dates, peanut butter, crispy brown rice cereal (for a little crrrrunch), and our not-so-secret ingredient: Holy Kakow single origin, organic, non-alkalized, Peruvian cacao. Oh yeah, that's the good stuff.

Born in a home kitchen by professional athletes, Lauren Fleshman, Jesse Thomas, and Steph Bruce set out to create something that didn't exist - a natural fuel option that was balanced for performance. Real food products didn't have the backbone to support athletic needs, and sport-specific options were weighed down with either too much protein, unnatural (and unpronounceable) ingredients, or only offered flash-in-the-pan energy that couldn't sustain long efforts.

Combining fast-acting carbs with long-lasting fats, and a touch of protein for recovery after, we cracked the code to keeping the engine running and happy. But most importantly? They actually taste pretty freaking good.

Each bar starts with dates, giving a soft, chewy texture and a great source of carbs that are easy to convert to energy. Next comes a carefully balanced mix of nuts, seeds, and fruits to provide the sustainable fuel that keeps you moving, and seven grams of muscle-building protein.

A 4:1 carb-to-protein ratio offers optimal nutrient absorption making them perfect for before, during, or after exercise, and an ingredient list you can recognize that's also gluten, dairy, soy, and GMO free, makes them a great-tasting, balanced snack.
