After Petronella lost her baby, her husband Luboslaw began to drink and abuse her. Several years later, she answers an advertisement from a widower father in Texas named Ken, who is seeking a wife. She believes it is God’s grace for her second chance at happiness. The biggest problem is: she never told him what she looked like, and because of her misery and abuse at the hands of Luboslaw, she is overweight. Praying, Ella embarks on a journey to Texas, hoping that Ken can see her true inner beauty.
