A young teenage girl comes to grips with the fact that she has never properly mourned the loss of her mother in the 9/11 attacks. She tries to reestablish a relationship with her father, but the difficulty nearly consumes her. She bonds with a beautiful horse on her father's ranch that has gone through it's own tragic loss. Together, they repair the pieces of their lives forever.
