Featuring a 4.1-inch (104 mm) blade of hardened Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, with a black ED coating, the knife is resistant to corrosion and reflection. The black coating is 20 micrometers thick and when the knife is used the primary edge will be scraped off, giving the knife maximum sharpness. A patterned, high-friction grip makes the knife comfortable to hold and easy to handle. The spine is not ground and cannot be used with a fire starter.
