A:The panels do not hold a charge themselves.It sends power straight to the device,you can charge directly from the panels or connect an external battery (not included) and charge that as your future power source.
Q: How effectively is it charging ? How long would it take to charge my iphone 6s in direct sunlight?
A: Depending on the sunlight. Since the Max input for iphone 6s is 1.2A,it will need 1.8-2hours to make full charge.
Q:Can i use it indoor or from behind a window (while indoor) facing sun?
A:The solar panel charger needs the sun to charge.If it is direct sun streaming in the window, it should work fine.
