• To adjust the thickness of slices, simply spin the dial located near the handle. Setting the dial to 0 indicates that the blade is safe and entirely hidden, while a 3 indicates that the blade is as open as possible for the thickest slices possible.
• In order to switch from flat slices to thinner julienne slicing, simply turn the dial on the right. Please note that this dial should always be set to "Slice" when being stored or when not in use.
