Directed by Douglas Sirk, There’s Always Tomorrow stars Barbara Stanwyck and Fred MacMurray in an absorbing drama about family life, marriage and the temptation of past romances. Clifford Groves (MacMurray) wants to spend more time alone with his wife, Marion (Joan Bennett), but her domestic duties keep her busy. Alone on a getaway weekend he had planned with Marion, Clifford runs into Norma (Stanwyck), a stunning former employee - and old flame - who is now successful, divorced and seemingly eager to be with him.
