Paulette Goddard, Ray Milland and Patric Knowles star in the rags-to-riches period film Kitty about a young woman from the slums who charts a path to outrageous fortune. After famed artist Thomas Gainsborough paints her portrait, sassy Kitty (Goddard) sees her prospects rise as members of the nobility take note of her unknown beauty.
