Each punch has a straight and true tip that's precisely machined to meet exacting size tolerances, so you're less likely to slip and scratch delicate finishes. Made from premium, high carbon steel, the punches are individually heat treated to create a strong, hardened tip while maintaining the soft temper of the striking end that absorbs hammer blows without chipping. For smoothly driving out or inserting solid pins, the Pin Punches have a reverse-tapered design that keeps them from sticking in holes. The Roll Pin Punches have the same reverse-tapered design that won't stick in pin holes as well as a self-centering guide ball tip for driving out or inserting hollow pins without damaging them. Stout and powerful, the Solid Punches loosen rusted and frozen pins so you can smoothly finish the job with a Pin Punch.
