This finely curled and compact herb has long, stiff, upright stems with dark green, double and tripled curled leaves. Use it fresh or dried for flavoring savory dishes. The attractive, compact plants do well in containers or in the garden and overwinter in most places. Flavorful leaves and roots for garnish and cooking. Use fresh or dried in a variety of dishes. Medicinal: A bitter, aromatic, and diuretic herb that stimulates the digestive process. One of the most nutritious herbs, Parsley is packed with vitamins and minerals like calcium, vitamin C and potassium. Seeds can be sown directly into garden when soil is warm or started in containers and transplanted when several inches tall. I grow this year round and keep it in my window in my kitchen for fresh cuts. Zones 3-10
